Jimmy

Jimmy is a twenty year old gelding who has been at the Shelter for about three years. He came to us from a fauna park that went out of business, and the ranger contacted Donkey Shelter to ask if we would take him in. Jimmy stayed at the Shelter for a few months before going out to carers, but unfortunately this placement did not work out. So Jimmy came back to us, and due to his ability to be ridden we keep him at the Shelter to perform in our events. All of the volunteers are very happy with this decision as Jimmy?s loving and friendly nature makes him a great favourite with everyone. Jimmy is one of the most affectionate donkeys there is. You give him a hug and you have a friend for life.
